cafe curtain - pleated top - elderfield linen.
A cafe curtain, handmade to fit your specified dimensions with a pretty pleated top style.
Elderfield is our beautiful go to linen sheer with a glazed unlaundered finish, which makes for a smart and tailored cafe curtain. Available in three creamy neutral shades, it has a tight weave but is woven using a lightweight yarn, allowing for light to flood through whilst providing ample opacity to overt the eye.
Our pleated top style has a pretty aesthetic. The pleated top uses hooks to hang from rings, making it easy to swish to the side. As standard, slightly more gather than the pocket top, whilst maintaining an unfussy appearance.

How your items will be received
- Where poles and curtains are ordered together, we always endeavour to send these as one package. Occasionally they will arrive separately, but we will let you know where this is the case.
Ordering curtains & poles for 4 or more windows (or a total combination of 8 poles and curtains)?
Use code 4windows at checkout for 15% off.
Of course, the style, fullness and colour of pole may not be to everyone’s taste and the dimensions may not work for every window.
- In such cases we would recommend using a traditional curtain maker who may be able to offer you a bespoke solution. Should you not already have a curtain maker, googling in your local area is our best recommendation*.
- You can use our fabrics, which are all available to purchase by the metre here.
- Where a width of pole outside of our offering is required, we would recommend using a traditional curtain pole, a few suppliers we recommend below.
- Jim Lawrence
- The Bradley Collection
- Cameron Fuller
*please note that we are not equipt to recommend curtain makers.
Choose options
Add a classic cafe pole
Add the size up from your pole width (i.e if your pole width is 110cm, add a 120cm pole)
If you have selected a pleated top cafe curtain, then add rings.
-
To ensure the perfect fit and avoid measuring mistakes, have a competent person cut the poles to size on site. We recommend using a hacksaw or angle grinder.
-
Please note; our poles are supplied with small slotted screws. These are only suitable to be screwed directly into wood or PVC, they are too small to be fitted into masonry or plasterboard.
