ROLE - CUSTOMER SERVICE & MARKETING ASSISTANT

Entry level/junior
A split responsibility role. We are seeking an organised, efficient and confident customer service assistant, with an aesthetic eye for marketing and social media, to work from our Bethnal Green based showroom.
Customer service -
You will be the first port of call for all incoming emails, phone calls and occasional in person showroom visits.
You will be able to confidently and calmly respond to simple enquires whilst making sure that more complex questions are distributed to the correct team.
A quick thinker with an investigative mindset, you will be confident in use your initiative to resolve customer issues quickly and efficiently.
With an eye for detail and presentation, you will be responsible for dispatching all sample and other small orders which need to be sent from the studio, whilst maintaining stock and re-ordering using our in house system.
A good understanding of textiles and/or made to measure products would be desirable, but not essential. An ability to guide customers through the relevant options and specifications confidently is a must.
Taking simple orders both over the phone, by email and in person. Raising Shopify orders and formal invoices where needed.
An understanding of Shopify back end is of advantage but not essential.
Ensuring the showroom space looks presentable, refreshing displays and making sure the space is inviting aesthetically.
Monitor and maintain an organised and tidy environment. Manage building services such as the cleaner and management of waste disposal.
Marketing -
With a working knowledge of both social media and email marketing, you will be able to ensure all channels are kept up to date and posts programmed ahead of time.
Woking with product team to create a plan for key shopping dates and product releases.
Creating regular email communication to both retail and trade customers. Ensuring they remain up to date with key events and information.
An ability to creatively reframe and refresh key information via socials and other channels.
Work from home Friday.
