The East London Cloth cafe curtain is simple and classic, based upon the design and specifically the fullness of the kind of sheer curtains one finds in Italy. Our café curtain maintains its style, fullness throughout and is available in two style of headings.

Made to order in our range of UK woven linens and delivered to you by post, with a lead time of 4 weeks.

The style is very much designed to be paired with our classic brass café pole, although our simple brass style pole provides a more affordable option and can be ordered in lengths of up to 110cm, and with recess brackets here.

Of course, the style, fullness and colour of pole may not be to everyone’s taste and the dimensions may not work for every window.
In such cases we would recommend using a traditional curtain maker who may be able to offer you a bespoke solution. Should you not already have a curtain maker, googling in your local area is our best recommendation*. You can use our fabrics, which are all available to purchase by the metre here.
Where a width of pole outside of our offering is required, we would recommend using a traditional curtain pole, a few suppliers we recommend below.

Care -

As with most soft furnishings, hoovering your curtains regularly will help avoid the build up of dirt and dust. Spot clean marks with the curtains in situ.

For stubborn marks, where completely necessary, dry clean. Or use a reputable curtain or upholstery cleaner, who can clean your curtains in situ.

Please note. Machine or hand washing may cause shrinkage, colour fade and upset the look of your curtains. We advise washing in this manner.
